SSVP/RPX received donation from Amanah Butler Malaysia Sdn Bhd on 16.12.08

Amanah Butler Malaysia Sdn Bhd gave a very generous donation of 25K to the SSVP to help it run its Rumah Pengajian Xavier (RPX) home project. We were among the 6 selected organizations to receive the donations which was held on Tuesday 16.12.08, from the Chairman of Amanah Butler, YBhg. Datuk Khalid Abdul Karim. Francis Lai and Ganesh Raj represented the Society and RPX in the cheque presenting ceremony .
Earlier in his welcoming speech, Mr Ghulam Mustapha Abdul Ghani, the CEO of Amanah Butler Malaysia related to the audience the efforts put in by his staff and their valued clients who whole heartedly have supported the company’s annual Charity Day since it started in 2003. This year’s brokerage earned was also astounding at it reflected a still robust financial market despite facing constrains of the troubled world economy. This annual charity event is also understood to be held worldwide on the same selected day as Amanah Butler Malaysia Sdn Bhd is a joint venture set up between MIDF and ICAP of the UK and the the parent company in UK is also having similar j/v worldwide.

Following the cheque presenting ceremony a fellowship high tea was held to encourage interaction between the host and their guests. During fellowship visuals were also shown about the activities on the trading floor on that selected day(10.12.08) which besides formal trading also hosted a 'thank you'luncheon for the customers. The staffs were also dressed casually and had the theme of promoting fun and joy while participating in their noble fund raising event.
